Spring Break

Well, we decided to make a quick trip to Utah for

Spring Break and had a great time. We started out

by driving straight to Logan. I went to Utah State

and I haven't been back for over 10 years. We drove

in from Bear Lake and I loved it. I had wanted to

take a picture of first dam, but we just drove by

way too fast. Then you just come upon the

University. And it really is such a beautiful campus.

I got so excited and we drove past the dorms and

some of my old apartments before we even got

to Traci's. (The main reason for going to Logan).

I was really nervous about going back to Logan. I

have some really great memories, but honestly I

also have some really bad memories and I wasn't sure

which ones were going to manifest when I got there.

Luckily, for all involved all I felt were great things.

After going to Traci and Collin's we all went out to

dinner and then we drove around town again. I think

I drove up and down main street like 3 or 4 times. We

also went up to the University and walked out to "The Quad".

I made the kids get up on the A and take a picture. This was not

the location of the A when I went to school here. I loved seeing

Old Main. What a Beautiful building.

We even got Traci and Collin up there and he

just attacked her. WHOA Dude!!!!!

At Traci and Collin's we did a lot of this.... WII, wrestling,

jumping and laughing. We had such a good time. My kids

just love Traci and Collin.

We also went to a really fun park

visited the Temple. Ruby is really into Princesses right

now so she thought this was a castle and when we drove

in to Town there was a wedding and so she thought the

bride was a princess. I told her she was absolutely right!!!

I think this is absolutely beautiful.

When we left Logan we went to Bountiful to see our friends.

First we met at the park and had lunch and then went back

to the house. It was cold and rainy outside and the kids didn't

notice a thing. They played outside for hours and we just got

to hang out. Of course it is never enough time.

Then we had dinner with Brandie and Kevin. We were there

for hours, luckily no one sat by us to be disturbed by our

children. Of course, kevin is a laugh a minute. So we were

laughing all night long.

The kids became instant friends.

The next day we went to the museum and spent the day with

Amanda and the kids. Jonny was out of town of course.

We had such a great time.

One of our favorite things to do is to go to Temple

Square. Some stranger took our picture. So we are

cute, but fuzzy.

After we left Logan, We stayed at Amy's parents

house in Alpine. It was really nice of them to

let us stay there. We had lots of space and they

even brought in some cats for my kids to play with.

Amy came in the day before we left so we got to see

her too. She came to speak at BYU about Rising Star.

Cory and I had a great time visiting with friends

and can't wait to go back.
