Jaxon turns 7

Seriously!!!! He is 7 years old. I can hardly believe it.

I told him no Birthday party this year. I don't think there

is any reason to have a birthday every single year. So we

found out that there was a Rockies game on his birthday

so I thought it was a good idea to try and go to the game.

Then Cory's cousin offered him some free tickets, Yeah!!!

We told Jaxon that we could take a couple of his friends and

go to the game. He was really excited. Well, friday rolls around

and it is raining, at times it was pouring and then at noon

it started SNOWING. AAAhhhhh!!!! We did take him out of

school for lunch, which has been a tradition with Sadie. We

also started to prepare him for a canceled game. I thought

that there was no way they could have the game. But the next

thing you know the sun comes out. So the boys all showed up

the sun is still shining we checked the website and Game on.

We drive downtown pay for parking, get out of the car and

WHAT????? the game is canceled. I can't even tell you how

disappointed I was. I was preparing to stay home all day, and

wasn't going to be disappointed. But once we were in the car

thinking it was on I was excited. OF course I was only planning

on staying at this game maybe 30 minutes. I' m not done go for

the novelty of it take a few pictures and leave. Great night. But

NO. No cute picture of the boys at the game. I was so mad. I

think they waited until game time to cancel so that most of the

fans are already downtown and will just stay and spend their

money at the bars.

The boys weren't too disappointed, as long as they knew

they were still going to get to play. They wanted to stay all

night.

On sunday, we also had dinner with the family and all of the

cousins. He had a great weekend. Happy Birthday Jaxon!!
