Labor Day

To start out the weekend we went up to Bereckenridge. It was a
beautiful weekend. We went up on Thursday night to spend the
day on Friday. Sadie needed some pictures taken for a play she
was trying out for, so this was one of them. Pretty cute.

Then we went to ride the alpine slide. Sadie and I were kind
of racing, except that she was way ahead of me. She caught up
to Cory and they looked at each other and got caught off balance
and the both tipped over with pretty severe crashes. This is Cory
showing off his ripped up shirt. His arm was all scratched up also.
Mostly burns.

Sadie on the other hand burned off her face. She is covering
it here and was quite traumatized by it. When they hit the
surface, they slid and it just burned their skin. We were trying
to get her to laugh.

This was us "before"!!

We rode the gondola up to the alpine slide and it was so fun
and beautiful...

Then Traci and Collin flew into town so we went back home
and spent Saturday at the lake. My boys have discovered the
art of fishing. Max can stand on the dock for HOURS and fish.

Saturday night the adults went out to dinner and then to get
ice cream. We had lots of fun.

We had a great weekend, despite the injuries.
