Once Upon A Mattress

Last week Sadie was in her school play.  It is the

story of the princess and the pea.  She had the role

of Larken, Lady in Waiting.  She was the only 6th 

grade girl with a speaking part.  She also sang a solo.

She worked really hard and this consumed much of

"our" time.  The only downfall was that her character had 

a love interest.  She actually had to act like she loved

a boy.  She pulled it off and did an incredible job, considering

she had laryngitis the weekend before.  She still had a hard

time hitting some of her high notes, but she was awesome!!!

She does not like me to take pictures, but I was lucky 

enough to get this one.

My camera doesn't take the best pictures with

all of the lights, but I am hoping my sisters did.

very annoyed.
