St. Patrick's Day

It is St. Patrick's Day today and usually that only means that
we should wear green so that we don't get pinched.  Well not
this time.  Sadie had grand ideas last night an hour before
bedtime.  I needed to make waffles, which I did last night.  Not
this morning.  Who has time for that.  I also died them green with
a little food coloring.  Then Sadie made Leprechaun traps, footprints
on our plates that we would be eating off of this morning.
Trails of green paper where the Leprechauns ran through our
house.  The Leprechauns even wrote on the boys and left
all kinds of graffiti on our door and our mirrors.  So this morning
the boys were awakened with quite an exciting surprise.

Sadie and Max with the traps (too bad we didn't catch any)

Ruby guzzling her green milk that no one else would drink
Yes, it tastes the same, but......YUCK!!!  And the green waffles

the little footprints on the plate, the milk and a note left
behind by the Leprechauns.  The boys also thought that
the Leprechauns made the green waffles.
All in all it was a great morning, everyone had a great time.
Thanks, Sadie!!!!

What a fun morning! You are a cute Mom - I need to steal ideas from you. =) The other night I had Emma in bed with me because she was sick and out of the blue - like I was asleep and she woke me up to tell me - "I need to call Sadie on the phone and tell her that I got some glitter pens of my own." Maybe you could pass along the message. I'm sure Sadie is dying to know that!
