Babysitting

Sadie had a big night last night.  She babysat for the very first time.  I have to say I am very proud of her.  She started babysitting for us in December for short amounts of time.  She then took a CPR class and is now certified.  She then took a class on Red Cross Babysitting class on Saturday and obviously learned great things, although she thought it was a long 7 hours.  She had a whole laundry basket full of fun for Aydan.  We had also bought her an American Girl babysitting guide book.  That was an awesome book.  I love American Girl.  I find it amazing how Sadie does this transformation from sister to babysitter when she babysits the boys.  And its not just her the boys make some kind of transformation as well, because all of a sudden Sadie is in charge and they listen to her and do what she says.  That is not something that happens on a regular basis.  So back to her 1st job.  She got paid for it.  She said that she hopes she can make $18 dollars every weekend.  I hope she does.  Right now when she babysits for us, it is considered her contribution to her Williamsburg trip.  So no money from us, for now.  We will eventually have to pay her.  Needless to say, I am very proud of her.
