A BIG THANK YOU!!

Carmel vacation obviously wouldn't have happened if it weren't for all of my wonderful family that helped us out by taking care of our kids.  Jenny, my sister, came to my house wednesday afternoon to take care of them and get them all off to school on thurdsay morning.  No easy feat, that is for sure.  3 kids in 3 schools at 3 different times.  It can be crazy.  Not only did she do that, but then she detailed my kitchen, organized my pantry and other cleaning tasks that I can't seem to find the time for.  Thanks Jenny!  Thanks for being a great sister and friend.

Of course thats not all.  My Mother-in-law did lots of the errand running for Sadie who is ever so busy and then she wanted to join Jenny in the cleaning and so she shampooed my couches and carpets.  Maybe I should go out of town more often.  

Cory's sister then had the boys spend the night on friday night and got them to soccer.  Sadie was with a few different friends and Lisa had them saturday night and took all of the kids to church.

I don't think I could have asked for a better Birthday present from any of them but to my surprise I still got MORE.  Obviously a great time with my husband in the beautiful Carmel, but then also flowers from my brother in Afghanistan and his family, and  a new pantry door from Cory's sisters.  What?  Yes a new pantry door.  About 2 years ago my children were playing and chasing and throwing things and broke the glass in my pantry door.  Well apparently I never got it fixed and everytime I tried to move forward with replacing it something would come up to distract me.  Love my new door!

The glass was replaced with metal and painted with chalk

board paint.  I love it and the kids love it.  I also wanted to 

get a picture of my cute graffiti from my sister-in-law.
