Girls Camp 2010

Another year successful year of Girls Camp. We only had
beehives this year, because everyone else was going on Trek.
60 girls is so much more manageable than 140. Everything
went so well, we had great leaders and cooks and helpers
and girls. It was such a great week. The only bad thing was
the horrible mosquitos. They swarmed around you.
Sadie and DeDe on the hike.

When all of the girls go to camp, we camp in age groups, but
since we had smaller numbers this year, we camped as wards.
These are a couple of the girls Sadie's age in our ward. We straightened
Sadie's hair before we left because there are no showers and
what is a girl to do with curly hair? She only brushes through
it wet. When we straightened it her hair was about 10 inches
longer than when it springs up in her curls. It was amazing!!!

This is our campground. It is truly beautiful. Batel stands
for Daughter of God!!

Sadly, there are no other pictures of Sadie and me. So this
has to do.

WE had a great year. Until next year.......

You are a good woman. Going to girls camp is high on my list of 'never again.' I use the fact that I am somewhat sickly =) as an excuse to get out of it!
